thistle & peach post

The green thingies that Nan-nan is holding I think are peaches.  They looked like peaches on the inside.  Because my friend named Benjamin stomped on one and Hudson and Sam said that that was a sign of a peach.

The purple flowers that Keturah was holding are called thistles.  Once, I pressed thistles and dandelions.  The dandelions, they started to change to the fluffy stuff that you blow off the flower.  The thistles were a little flat.

how to make peanut butter

This post is gonna tell you how to make peanut butter.

First, you take raw peanuts and roast them in a wok.  And then, you put them in a spice grinder.

You grind them and then while they're in the grinder, you put a touch of sesame oil in the grinder.  You keep grinding until it looks like peanut butter.

And then you put them in a jar.  You put the cover on.  And that's it of how to make peanut butter.

This is what the peanut butter looks like.  It tastes good.

car ship

A car ship is something that carries cars and people on the sea.  I made my car ship out of blocks, and our toy cars I put on it.

Now I'm going to tell you about the details of it.  The sails are triangle blocks on top of the door things that are luggage.  The sails are these things that are on the side too, and they look like big triangles.  They are two triangles put together.

Some of the luggage has these triangle things that go down at the edges.

Some of the cars that we put on the ship were race cars.  One of those race cars was a big race car.  Me and my sister, Keturah, put them on with our hands.  The big race car we pretended it was 'the King,' and one of the race cars was also another 'King' that wasn't the big race car.  It was in the movie called "Lightning McQueen."  One of the cars on the ship we pretended it was Lightning McQueen.

We saw this tree with two bird nests on it.  We were going to the gas trip to get gas.  Aunt Kendra was with us.

marilla loves oranges

Marilla actually really does love oranges.  It is funny.

Because I just think it's funny!

When she gets one, she'll gobble it up, and ask for a second one.

And she might ask for a third one.  She might ask for a fourth one!

She eats them really fast.  Not all two year olds can, but Marilla can peel them herself.  She loves peeling them herself.  Nobody taught her how to peel them.  We don't know if the orphanage taught her--maybe they did.

third tooth

The tooth fairy was late on Monday.  I lost my third tooth.  I put it under my pillow.  I checked under my pillow right away in the morning.  There was still a tooth.

I went to mommy and daddy, and showed them that the tooth fairy didn't come, 'cause there was still a tooth.  I decided to put it back under my pillow.

I think she thought we were sleeping late.  We weren't sleeping late, though, because my new little sister wakes up early.

And then the tooth fairy came in the morning.  I thought she was just a nighttime tooth fairy.  I'm glad she came in the morning because I could have saw her.  But I didn't.  She might have wings.  They make her fast.

green thumb

I am a very good green thumb.  Because my plants haven't turned all the way brown.

I am watering my plants.

I'm a very good waterer.  I always remember to water my plants.  I water them one time, and when I think they need water I water them.  When they're wilting I know they really need water.

This is a dandelion.  I picked it from outside, and I took the white fuzzy seeds, then I put them in dirt.  I knew how to plant the seed furry side up because I watched a gerber daisy video that showed you how to pick the viable seeds, and plant them in a pot of dirt.  The fat ones are viable and the thin ones are not.

I also harvested gerber daisy seeds from a old gerber daisy flower.  The gerber daisy is the taller one.
